These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, bookings, and interaction with our website and premises. By engaging with Crave, The Hair Studio, you agree to abide by the terms outlined below.

1. General Overview
1.1 Crave, The Hair Studio refers to the business entity operating in New Zealand under the name "Crave, The Hair Studio", located at 300 South Road Dunedin..

1.2 By visiting our salon or using our services (including consultations, treatments, and retail), you are bound by these Terms and Conditions.

1.3 These Terms and Conditions may be amended from time to time, and your continued use of our services constitutes your acceptance of any changes.

2. Appointments & Booking Policy
2.1 Appointment Scheduling: All appointments must be booked in advance either by phone, online via our website, or in person at the salon. While we strive to accommodate walk-in clients, we cannot guarantee availability without prior bookings.

2.2 Confirmation: Once an appointment is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation via email or SMS. Please ensure your contact details are accurate to avoid missed communications.

2.3 Appointment Deposit: For appointments that are expected to take more than 2 hours (such as extensive color treatments or hair extensions), we may request a non-refundable deposit. This deposit will be credited toward your service and is forfeited if the appointment is missed or canceled without proper notice.

2.4 Cancellation and Rescheduling: We require at least 24 hours' notice for the cancellation or rescheduling of any appointment. Cancellations made within this period will incur a 50% charge of the scheduled service. No-shows or cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a 100% service charge.

2.5 Late Arrival: Clients are expected to arrive on time for their scheduled appointments. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we may not be able to provide the full service booked or may need to reschedule depending on availability.

3. Consultation and Patch Testing
3.1 Consultation: For services such as color treatments, hair extensions, or keratin treatments, a consultation may be required. During the consultation, we will assess your hair’s condition and discuss the desired outcome, possible treatments, and costs.

3.2 Patch Test: For color services and chemical treatments, a patch test may be required at least 48 hours prior to the appointment to ensure there are no allergic reactions. If you decline the patch test, we reserve the right to decline the treatment.

4. Pricing and Payments
4.1 Pricing: Prices for our services are listed on our website and are subject to change without prior notice. The final cost will depend on the consultation, service chosen, and any additional treatments required to achieve the desired results.

4.2 Payment Terms: Full payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept payments via cash, EFTPOS, major credit cards, and online bank transfers. All prices listed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST.

4.3 Price Adjustments: If additional time, products, or services are needed beyond the original appointment booking, the final price may differ. These adjustments will be discussed with the client before proceeding with the service.

4.4 Refunds and Adjustments: Due to the nature of hair services, refunds are not offered for completed services. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome, we will offer a follow-up consultation within 7 days to assess the service and recommend appropriate adjustments. These adjustments will be done at no additional cost, provided the original instructions were followed.

5. Gift Vouchers and Promotions
5.1 Gift Vouchers: Gift vouchers purchased from Crave, The Hair Studio are valid for 12 months from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

5.2 Promotions: From time to time, Crave, The Hair Studio may run promotional offers. These offers are subject to specific terms and conditions, including expiry dates, and cannot be used in conjunction with other discounts unless stated otherwise.

6. Liability and Damages
6.1 Client Responsibility: It is the client’s responsibility to provide accurate and comprehensive information regarding hair history, allergies, or medical conditions that may affect the outcome of the service. Failure to disclose this information may result in an undesired outcome, for which Crave, The Hair Studio will not be held liable.

6.2 Limitation of Liability: While we strive for excellence, Crave, The Hair Studio is not liable for:

Hair damage resulting from previous chemical treatments not performed at our salon.

Failure of the client to follow aftercare instructions.

Any allergic reactions unless a patch test was conducted and the treatment was deemed safe.

6.3 Personal Belongings: Clients are responsible for their personal belongings while visiting the salon. Crave, The Hair Studio is not liable for any loss or damage to personal property.

7. Children and Pets
7.1 Children: Children are welcome at Crave, The Hair Studio, but for safety reasons, they must be supervised at all times. We encourage parents or guardians to bring someone to supervise their children during their appointments.

7.2 Pets: Except for service animals, pets are not permitted in the salon to ensure the safety and comfort of all clients and staff.

8. Health and Safety
8.1 Health and Hygiene: Crave, The Hair Studio adheres to strict health and hygiene protocols. All tools and workspaces are sanitized between clients to ensure a safe and clean environment.

8.2 COVID-19 Policies: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have introduced additional safety measures in compliance with the New Zealand Ministry of Health guidelines. These include, but are not limited to, mandatory face masks, hand sanitization stations, and social distancing within the salon. Failure to comply with these measures may result in the cancellation of your appointment.

9. Privacy Policy
9.1 Personal Information: Any personal information you provide (such as your name, contact details, or hair preferences) will be handled in accordance with New Zealand privacy laws. We do not share your information with third parties unless required by law or for the purposes of providing you with our services (e.g., appointment reminders).

9.2 Marketing Communications: By booking with us, you agree to receive occasional promotional material via email or SMS. You may opt out of these communications at any time by contacting the salon or using the “unsubscribe” link included in our emails.

10. Dispute Resolution
10.1 Complaints: If you have any concerns or complaints regarding your service, please raise them with the salon management within 7 days of your appointment. We will strive to resolve any issues promptly and professionally.

10.2 Governing Law: These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms and Conditions shall be resolved in New Zealand courts.
